Ministries...
The Mission of St. David's Episcopal Church is to restore people to unity with God and each other in Christ. We pursue this mission as we pray and worship together, proclaim the gospel, and promote justice, peace and love. We carry out this mission through the ministry of all members, according to the gifts given us.
At Saint David's we have organized our mission into the following areas of ministry:
STEWARDSHIP
- Being "faithful stewards" and managers of all creation, particularly the gifts God has given to the local church.
WORSHIP
- Pursuing the mission of the church through "prayer & worship".
- "Continuing in the apostles' teaching and fellowship, breaking of the bread and the prayers".
EVANGELISM
- Proclaiming the Gospel, the "Good News of God in Christ".
- Growing by inviting, welcoming, and incorporating new people into the church.
EDUCATION
- "Continuing in the apostles' teaching and fellowship, the breaking of bread and the prayers".
- "Growing in the knowledge and love of the Lord".
PASTORAL CARE
- Promoting justice, peace, and love.
- "Respecting the dignity of every human being".
- In - reach to those in need within the local church community.
SERVICE
